Who we are
Grimes Photography is a husband and wife wedding photographer team based in Greenville, North Carolina and serving all of the Carolinas and beyond.
Thomas and Ginger's love story began in 2007, culminating in a beautiful June wedding in 2011. With over 15 years of combined photography experience, the Grimes Photography team is dedicated to providing couples with an incredible experience and the photos they truly deserve. Now based in Greenville, North Carolina, Thomas and Ginger share their home with their three children, Kennedy, Houston, and Shepard, along with their beloved dogs Lilly and Walt.
In 2022, we welcomed Octavio to the Grimes Photography team. His passion for photography shines through his work, capturing the essence and beauty of each moment with an artistic eye. With nearly a decade of expertise, Octavio brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to every project. When he’s not behind the camera, Octavio enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two wonderful children.

We had the pleasure of working with Thomas & Octavio at Grimes Photography for our engagement pictures, bridal portraits and wedding weekend and I have to say, I could not be more pleased with how this entire experience turned out! Thomas was very personable, EXTREMELY ORGANIZED, and is all around a great person to work with. When you are getting pictures done for your wedding, it is so important to have people that understand your style and vision. Thomas was great listening to us and was so efficient the day of our wedding. I was very pleased about this, since we had a very large wedding!We asked a lot of Thomas when he came out to take our engagement photos on South River. He spent half of the day riding in our nasty boat adventuring off into the sound & mosquito filled woods. But, let me tell you - those pictures were AMAZING!And the photobooth. WOW. YOU NEED THE PHOTOBOOTH AT YOUR WEDDING! We had the best time getting to look at the ~300 pictures from our wedding guests. This is a really fun way to capture the thrills of the night because people have the freedom to take pictures the way they want to be seen. Really a fun thing to have at your wedding!If you are looking for a photographer that can capture all of life's beautiful moments...Thomas and his team at Grimes Photography are the ones for you. I asked Thomas to come to our farm and take pictures in the rain. I had a vision in my head and Thomas made them a reality. He was willing to work with us on day and time so that we could get the session done in the rain! The pictures are great and we look forward to working with Grimes Photography again in the future!

We did a fall family photoshoot. Thomas was flexible, patient, and kind when our daughter was uncooperative. Even with her ill humor, the photos came out beautifully! We look forward to another photoshoot with Thomas next year.
